Bollywood actor Salman Khan joined his family for the Ganpati visarjan celebrations at his brother Sohail Khan’s residence in Mumbai, where a light-hearted moment during the aarti caught the attention of social media users.
During the traditional prayer ceremony, Salman Khan was seen performing the aarti before Lord Ganesha. However, he appeared to rotate the aarti plate in the wrong direction. His sister Arpita Khan Sharma noticed the mistake and gently intervened, showing him the correct direction.
Salman immediately followed his sister’s instructions and continued the ritual. A video capturing the moment has been widely shared on social media, with the interaction between the siblings becoming one of the highlights of the family celebration.
The Khan family gathered to bid farewell to Lord Ganesha during Sohail Khan’s Ganpati visarjan. Salman was seen participating in the festivities along with other family members and friends. The celebration included traditional prayers, music and dancing as the family came together for the immersion ceremony.
Romanian actress and singer Iulia Vantur was also present at the celebrations. She participated in the aarti and offered prayers to Lord Ganesha. Other members of the Khan family, including Arhaan Khan, Nirvaan Khan and Salman’s niece Ayat, were also seen taking part in the festivities.
The family members later joined the celebrations with music and dance, creating a lively atmosphere during the visarjan procession. Salman, who has regularly participated in his family’s Ganpati celebrations over the years, was once again seen actively taking part in the occasion.
The informal family moments from the celebration quickly attracted attention online, particularly the brief exchange between Salman and Arpita during the aarti. The incident added a humorous and personal touch to the otherwise traditional religious gathering.
Sohail Khan’s Ganpati celebration brought together several members of the Khan family and their close friends, reflecting the family’s annual tradition of celebrating Ganesh Chaturthi together.
