Noida witnessed severe congestion as rainwater accumulated on key roads, while an ambulance was reportedly caught in the traffic, highlighting the difficulties faced by emergency services during the downpour.
The intense spell of rain affected normal life across Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad and surrounding areas. Several stretches witnessed slow-moving traffic and waterlogging, with commuters facing delays during peak hours. Authorities and traffic personnel were deployed at vulnerable locations to manage congestion and facilitate the movement of vehicles.
The impact of the weather was not limited to the national capital region. In Uttar Pradesh, flooding was reported in around 30 villages following heavy rainfall and rising water levels in local rivers and drains.
