Chennai, February 12, 2025 – Actress Trisha Krishnan, currently riding high on the success of her latest film Vidaamuyarchi, has fallen victim to a cyberattack. Her official X (formerly Twitter) account was hacked on Tuesday, with scammers using it to post fraudulent cryptocurrency promotions.
Trisha quickly alerted her fans via Instagram Stories, stating, “My Twitter is hacked, guys. Whatever is posted is not from me until rectified. Thanks.”
The hacking incident came to light after her account posted multiple updates claiming that she had launched her own cryptocurrency named $KRISHNAN. Fans quickly flagged the suspicious activity, and the actor is now working to restore access.
Vidaamuyarchi: Trisha’s Latest Film
Trisha was last seen in Vidaamuyarchi, a high-stakes action thriller about a man’s desperate mission to rescue his kidnapped wife in Azerbaijan. The film, which was shot between 2023 and 2024, faced multiple delays before finally hitting theatres.
Despite mixed reviews, Ajith Kumar’s performance and the film’s stunning visuals were praised.
