Investigation teams probing the Delhi blast have traced the core planning activities to Room No. 13 of a building inside Al-Falah University in Faridabad. According to officials, the accused used this room as a quiet meeting place where the conspiracy was discussed and tasks were divided.
Probing officers say that two individuals linked to the case — Umar and Shaheen — allegedly removed chemicals from the university laboratory without permission. These materials were then combined with other components to prepare explosive substances.
Sources involved in the investigation claim that the group was gathering supplies to create around 200 improvised explosive devices, signalling a large-scale plan. During searches, authorities also recovered items believed to be used for assembling these explosives, along with notebooks containing coded notes and activity details.
Security agencies have now sealed the room and initiated a deeper forensic examination of both the hostel space and the laboratory. University officials, meanwhile, maintain that the institution had no role in the plot and that the accused individuals acted on their own.
