Uddhav and Raj Thackeray Unite: ‘We Have Come Together to Stay Together,’ Says Uddhav at Mumbai Rally

Mumbai — In a historic show of unity, Uddhav Thackeray and Raj Thackeray shared the stage at a massive rally in Mumbai on Tuesday evening, signaling a new era of collaboration between the estranged cousins and their respective political factions. The rally, held at Shivaji Park, drew thousands of supporters from across Maharashtra.

Speaking to a thunderous crowd, Uddhav Thackeray declared,

“We have not come together for a photo. We have come together to stay together — for Maharashtra, for its people, and for Hindutva.”

This marks the first joint appearance in nearly two decades for the leaders of Shiv Sena (UBT) and Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS), once seen as bitter rivals in the state’s political landscape.

A Call for Marathi Unity

Raj Thackeray, known for his fiery speeches, echoed the sentiment of unity, emphasizing that the time had come to “prioritize the interests of Marathi-speaking people, workers, and small businesses.” He also hinted at joint strategies for the upcoming state assembly elections, although no official alliance announcement was made.

“We may have walked different paths till now, but the roots are the same. The time to act as one has come,” Raj said.

Political Reactions

The joint rally has sparked reactions across the political spectrum. While some hailed it as a powerful statement of Maratha consolidation, others saw it as a strategic move ahead of crucial elections.

The BJP and Eknath Shinde factions have yet to formally respond, but insiders suggest the development could complicate their electoral calculations, especially in Mumbai, Thane, and Pune.

Stay tuned to Singh News Media for continuing coverage on this political realignment and what it means for the future of Maharashtra.
