CM Rekha Gupta stated that the cabinet discussed two important issues and the government is committed to fulfilling the promises that the party made. Besides, Delhi’s ex-Chief Minister Atishi on Thursday said that the saffron party was deceiving by not announcing the decision to give Rs 2500 to people in their first cabinet meeting.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Friday said that she has called a meeting of PWD and Jal Board officials, adding that the focus will be on the issue of potholes. In her first cabinet meeting as the CM, she approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme in Delhi with a Rs 5 lakh top-up and also announced that 14 pending CAG reports will be tabled in the first sitting of the Assembly.
“In the cabinet meeting yesterday, we approved the Ayushman Bharat scheme, which was blocked by the AAP. The scheme will soon be in the public domain… Today, we have called the PWD and Jal Board officials for a meeting with the cabinet. We will take over the issue of potholes,” CM Gupta was quoted as saying by ANI. Infrastructure and access of clean drinking water were few of the forefront issues of the recently concluded Delhi assembly elections in which the BJP emerged victorious.
