Rajnath Singh to Visit Bhuj Airbase Today, A Day After Issuing Stern Warning to Pakistan

Bhuj, Gujarat: In a significant follow-up to his strong statement on national security, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh is scheduled to visit the Indian Air Force base in Bhuj today. The visit comes just a day after he declared India’s firm resolve to act against cross-border terrorism and safeguard its territorial integrity at all costs.

Assessing Operational Readiness

During the visit, the Defence Minister will review strategic preparedness, interact with senior military commanders, and inspect air defense systems and combat infrastructure currently on high alert due to the ongoing regional tension.

Sources in the Ministry of Defence confirm that Rajnath Singh will also be briefed on recent aerial operations, including those related to Operation Sindoor, India’s counter-terror offensive following the Pahalgam attack.

Message of Strength and Support

Rajnath Singh’s visit to the Bhuj base is seen as both a symbolic and operational move, meant to boost the morale of troops stationed close to the western border.

“India will not tolerate threats to its sovereignty. We have given a clear message—we will hit back harder, and decisively,” he had said yesterday while addressing the press in New Delhi.

High Security in Kutch Region

With Bhuj being a forward airbase near the India-Pakistan border, security in the Kutch region has been significantly heightened. Surveillance has been intensified, and anti-drone systems have been deployed amid fears of infiltration and sabotage attempts.

The Defence Minister is also expected to hold a closed-door meeting with local air and ground commanders to discuss logistics, troop movement, and aerial readiness.
