A negative marking of 1/3rd will be applied for incorrect answers. Candidates who pass the prelims will be eligible for the mains exam, which consists of 160 questions for 160 marks, to be completed in 180 minutes. The mains paper will have four sections, each lasting 45 minutes with 40 questions per section. The same 1/3rd negative marking rule applies.
